A College and Career Ready Luncheon was held on November 12th at Clinton County High School to recognize students who have attained the level college and career readiness.    Students who were honored at the event include:  Kierra Mason, Chandra Tallent, Takota Dalton, Jordan Grant, Matthew Griffin, Haley Huckelby, Carrie McClellan, Katie Beth Williams, Daniel Duvall, Samantha Mason, Victoria Turner, Brett England, Erika Rodriquez, Savannah Cooper.  Below is a reflection on the luncheon, written by CCHS senior Kierra Mason

The CCHS College and Career Readiness Committee assembled a College and Career Ready luncheon for the students who have achieved readiness from their ACT scores, Compass scores, or vocational studies exams.  These students were rewarded for their hard work and dedication by being treated to a 3 course meal at the high school.  This luncheon included round tables with black table cloths, covered seats with wrap around bows, and even candlelight and classical music for an elegant ambience.  The students ate on fine china and were served by administration such as Mrs. Kathy Hunter, Ms. Tammy Denney, Mrs. Gina Poore, Mrs. Cindy Choate, Mrs. Stacey Evans, and Mr. Jake Asberry.  This luncheon was very much appreciated and enjoyed by the students.  The administration plans to do something special for the College and Career Ready students each month.
