AES Celebrates Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo was celebrated on Thursday, May 5th at Albany Elementary School.  Clinton County High School Spanish Teacher Mr. James Walker and the CCHS Spanish Club spoke to students about the history of Cinco de Mayo. Students were treated to dances, translations, and a piñata.  Spanish Club students taught the elementary students "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" in Spanish.  AES students enjoyed the presentation and learned several animal names in Spanish.
