You might have noticed the Tobacco Free Campus signs lately around all of the schools in the Clinton County School District. This is part of the mass media education campaign for the new 100% Tobacco Free Schools policy that will begin on July 1st. The policy was adopted by the school board in June 2015, and preparations for its implementation have been in the works ever since. This policy change is the result of a Kentucky Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program local grant. Partners include Clinton County Board of Education, Clinton County Health Department, ADANTA-RPC, Clinton County KY-ASAP, Clinton County Healthy Hometown Coalition, and CCHS Youth Empowerment Network (YEN) Club.
