CCATC Students Assist with Health Fair

The students enrolled in the Medicaid Nurse Aide Program at the Clinton County Area Technology Center, along with their Instructors Billie Frye, RN and Cindy Albertson, RN, assisted with the annual Health Fair at Dyer Drug on October 15, 2016. The event allowed the students to gain experience in measuring blood pressures, pulses, and respirations. The students also handed out information regarding organ donation.   This event allowed the students to gain real-world experience related to health care. The students and instructors would like to thank the community members for allowing the students to assess their vital signs and Dyer Drug staff for allowing the students to participate in the annual Health Fair. The students who participated include: Emily Frye, Olivia Turner, Samantha Flowers, Keisha Garrett, Stephanie York, Brett Gibson, Mackenzie Polston, Jana Mullins, Olivia Maupin, Chloe Martin, Loran Conner, Abby Gibson, Karlee Gibson, Samantha Ravellette, Cassie Varney, Scottlyn McWhorter, McKenzie Albertson, Sholonda Ramsey, Kelsey Patrick, Sarah Albertson, Allee Hopper, Madison Adkins, and Samantha Beasley.
