Students are able to complete training and take the certification tests free of charge through the Microsoft Imagine Academy in Mrs. Holly Claborn's Digital Literacy classes at CCATC. These certifications are valuable because they help students become more knowledgeable in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. They also give students an advantage when seeking part-time employment while in high school and/or college. Students who earn 3 certifications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) may be eligible to receive college credit. Further information is available at the ACE College Credit Recommendation website: www.acenet.edu or www.certiport.com. Clinton County Area Technology Center students earned a total of 27 MOS certifications at the end of the fall semester.
