CCHS Wins District Governor's Cup!

On Saturday, January 28, 2017, Clinton County Middle School hosted the District 15 High School Governor's Cup Competition with Cumberland, Metcalfe, and Monroe Counties.  The following students placed in written assessment:  Conlan Beck (2nd in Social Studies), Jessica Criswell (1st in Language Arts and 5th in Composition), Mary Willen Cross (4th in Arts and Humanities and 4th in Composition), Jared Grant (2nd in Science), Paige Hicks (4th in Language Arts and 3rd in Composition), Zach McFall (2nd in Mathematics and 1st in Arts and Humanities), Jaden Mullins (2nd in Arts and Humanities), Noah Stockton (2nd in Science and 4th in Social Studies), Jared Upchurch (3rd in Social Studies), and Camrick Wright (4th in Language Arts). Tori Beaty, Matthew Hunter, Frank Zheng, and Vivian Zheng placed 1st in Future Problem Solving (FPS).  The Quick Recall team also placed 1st and the team won 1st place overall.  The Quick Recall team is coached by Danielle Hicks and the FPS Team is coached by Gina Poore. Congratulations!!!

The Clinton County High School Academic Team won first place at the District 15 High School Governor's Competition on Saturday, January 28th.
