To raise money for cancer research, the Clinton County High School Relay for Life team sponsored a "Pie in the Face" fundraiser at CCHS. The amount of money donated determined which teacher or administrator took a "Pie in the Face" at a pep rally on Friday, February 17th. Canisters for voting were placed in all of the candidates' rooms or offices. Thanks to the following CCHS faculty for participating: Mrs. Aaron, Mr. Asberry, Mr. Bales, Mr. Bertram, Mrs. Conner, Mr. Dalton, Mrs. Guffey, Mrs. Lovell, Mr. Maupin, Mr. Miller, Mrs. Mora, Mrs. Musk, Mrs. Neathery, Mrs. Norris, Mr. Prewitt, Mrs. Sloan, and Mr. Walker. The teachers who earned the most money were: 1st - Mr. Prewitt ($109.04), 2nd - Mrs. Mora ($101.69), and 3rd - Mr. Bertram ($83.72). Additionally, the candidates who earned the least amount also received a pie in the face. Mr. Asberry and Mr. Maupin tied for the lowest amount earned, with $4.46 each. The CCHS Relay for Life team raised $515.47 during this event. Thanks to CCHS faculty for being such good sports!!!
