GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness & Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) is a federal grant program in Clinton County that has been established to work with all students to ensure that they have the academic tools needed to attend a college or technical school after graduation. On Monday, April 24, 2017, GEAR UP hosted a Parent College Night at Somerset Community College. Admissions counselors were available to answer questions about attending college. Tours were availabe for the six programs offered at the SCC Clinton Center. Participants enjoyed a catered dinner following the event.
