On Monday, May 15, 2017, the students in Mrs. Angela Sloan's Dual Credit English 102 class at Clinton County High School performed Macbeth at Good Neighbors Theatre in Byrdstown, TN. Earlier in the semester, students had read and studied Macbeth as part of their senior English curriculum. At that time, the class decided what better way to become acquainted with the play than by actually performing it--LIVE. Parts were assigned and the class would occasionally take a class period for rehearsals. After much debate, the class decided to do a pirate-themed version for its performance. What was created was an hour long production of one of the bard's most famous plays. On the night of the performance, parents, friends, and peers gathered for a show that will not soon be forgotten.
