The 10th Annual Reaching for Rainbows Fishing Derby for students in Clinton and Russell Counties was held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery. Students look forward to this trip every year and enjoy fishing for trout in the hatchery creek during the annual event. Lunch was provided and all participants received a free t-shirt and medallion. Each participant also received a prize, courtesy of Russell and Clinton County Soil and Water Conservation Districts, as well as donations received from the Friends of Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery. CCHS student Codey Robertson also received a special prize for his sportsmanship. Each time Codey caught a fish, he gave it away to another student. Congratulations Codey!
