A group of fifteen students in 9th and 10th grades from CCHS attended the iBELIEVE Leadership Summit at Eastern Kentucky University on November 28, 2017. The iBELIEVE Foundation strives to provide opportunities to Appalachian youth for the development of 21st Century Skills such as leadership, communication, and problem solving. Leadership summits are designed to build on a foundation of experiential learning concepts. Students connect with leaders from different schools to discover, build and strengthen the skills necessary to effective leadership. This year, the program focused on lessons about goal setting to develop a growth mindset. The trip was coordinated through the local GEAR UP program.
