On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, students in the Gifted & Talented program at CCMS and CCHS were transported to the Center for Rural Development in Somerset, where they were introduced to the culinary arts by a trained chef. Students engaged in hands-on activities, and were challenged to follow directions and show their creativity through cooking preparation. Students learned the many ways the culinary arts can make every day special and were exposed to a variety of career options in the growing field.
