Each year, high school students from across the state come together at Western Kentucky University for a one day retreat to further develop their leadership skills. On Friday, September 21st, thirty-seven students from Clinton County High School participated in this High School Leadership Conference at Western Kentucky University. Students attended sessions presented by Western Kentucky University staff and student leaders. Session topics included College Panel on Being a Successful College Student, Authentic Leadership, Personality in Leadership, Personal Financial Success, Leading with Style, Igniting Your Superpower, and many others. The students also had the opportunity to experience a campus tour during the conference. The trip was sponsored by the Gifted & Talented Program and Gear Up.
