CCHS Christmas Concert 2020

Posted On: Tuesday, December 15, 2020

Clinton County High School is blessed that we have been able to continue with band instruction through the pandemic and we would like to thank the administrators who made that happen. Though there have been many barriers and restrictions to what the band does normally, we have been able to safely continue Band instruction, as many other bands across the state have done, using all the guidelines recommended by the Kentucky Music Educators Association. We are thankful for this as it gives our students some sense of normalcy, allows them to continue something they love, and allows them to work together as a team toward something in a time when we are physically apart. Though we haven’t been able to play together as a group in a long time, we would like to present our latest project, the CCHS Christmas Concert 2020.

Our students have worked hard to do the seemingly impossible. Everyone who participated recorded their individual parts on cell phones and those parts were put together by Mr. Logan Butler. All parts were recorded separately and individually. Everything you hear in these 4 songs comes from CCHS Band students, a few very appreciated Alumni Band members, and a few excellent CCMS students who have taken lessons with Mr. Butler this semester.

Music by its very nature brings people together, and that’s something we need right now. Without further ado, we would like to present our Christmas Concert 2020. “Let the music play on!”
