CCHS Academic Team is Governor's Cup Champs!

Congratulations to the CCHS Academic Team! They are the 15th District Governor’s Cup Champions for the 11th consecutive year!

The quick recall team placed 1st. The FPS team placed 1st. The following students placed in written assessment:

•Makenzie Cope (2nd in math and 3rd in science)

•Alex Duvall (3rd in social studies)

•Tyler Guffey (1st in science and 1st in social studies)

•Katie Jones (3rd in composition and 2nd in language arts)

•Evan Little (1st in arts & humanities)

•Loren Little (1st in language arts)

•Caleb Marcum (4th in science)

•Moriah Moons (2nd in composition)

•Ella Rose Smith (4th in composition and 5th in arts & humanities)

•Emma Tompkins (2nd in social studies)

The FPS team consists of: Ashton Daniels, Evan Little, Loren Little, and Caleb Marcum. FPS is coached by Gina Poore.

The quick recall team consists of: Makenzie Cope, Ashton Daniels, Alex Duvall, Tyler Guffey, Katie Jones, Evan Littlle, Loren Little, Caleb Marcum, Moriah Moons, Eli Rains, Ella Rose Smith, and Emma Tompkins. Written Assessment is coached by Danielle Hicks.

The entire team advances to Region Governor’s Cup on Monday, February 14 and Saturday, February 19 at South Warren High School in Bowling Green.
