Clinton Students Take Top Honors at Lake Cumberland 4-H Showcase of Stars

The Lake Cumberland 4-H Showcase of Stars speech and demonstration competition was held on May 12, 2015 at Lindsey Wilson College.  Clinton County 4-H students brought home lots of ribbons, winning every speech category they entered!  All of the speech winners will advance to the State 4-H Communications Day on July 11th at the University of Kentucky.

AES student Ashton Daniels was a Grand Champion, winning first place in the Age 9 speech category with "KOKO the Gorilla."

CCMS student Shaina Brown was a Grand Champion, winning first place in the Age 10 speech category with "Gizmo."

CCMS student Christian Derryberry was a Grand Champion, winning first place in the Age 11 speech category with "Harry Houdini."

CCMS student Bobbianne Key was a Grand Champion, winning first place in the Age 12 speech category with "Braces."

CCMS student Makaya Gregory was a Grand Champion, winning first place in the Age 13 speech category with "A Stable Friendship."

CCMS student Andrea Duvall was a Grand Champion, winning first place in the Age 14 speech category with "Bigfoot."

CCMS student Hayley Brown received a red ribbon Grand Champion for her demonstration on Breads.

CCMS student Doris Wells received a blue ribbon for her demonstration on Foods.

CCMS students Moriah Moons and Delaney Chilton were blue ribbon reserve Grand Champions in the team demonstration competition.

CCMS student Sarah Cross was Grand Champion Winner for her Junior Home Environment & Management demonstration and will advance in the demonstrations competition, which is also part of State 4-H Communications Day.
