On Friday, March 11th, students in the Gifted & Talented Program at Albany Elementary School participated in the WAVE on Wheels Outreach Program from the Newport Aquarium. The WAVE Foundation strives to excite, engage, and educate students about the wonders of aquatic life and the importance of conservation. Students participated in the Creature Feature Animal Program, Scales and Tails, which allowed students to encounter a tortoise, baby alligator, and snake.
