ZuZu Acrobats Perform at AES

Posted On: Tuesday, April 26, 2016

The ZuZu Acrobats from Mombasa, Kenya performed live at Albany Elementary School on April 20, 2016.  This high energy group has performed in 25 countries world wide over the past ten years and received high reviews on America's Got Talent.  They entertained AES students with tumbling, limbo, contortion, pyramid building, and balancing feats like none they'd seen before.  Students volunteered for acts and begged for more.  In addition, students were taught that in Mombasa, 42 languages are spoken, with English and Swahili being most popular.  They practiced saying hello, friend, no worries, and goodbye in Swahili.  A great time was had and students learned about their African cultures.
