ECC, AES, & CCMS Students Raise Over $2,000 in Math-a-Thon

Posted On: Tuesday, April 26, 2016

For more than 35 years, the St. Jude Math-A-Thon, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, has been America’s largest education-based fundraiser. To participate, kids in grades K-8 ask family and friends for pledges to solve math problems in the St. Jude Math-A-Thon Funbook, developed by Scholastic. Again this year, students at the Early Childhood Center, Albany Elementary School, and Clinton County Middle School put their math skills to work to raise money for this worthy cause.  The coordinator of this event at ECC and AES is Mrs. Lorie Dalton, and the coordinator at CCMS is Mrs. Betsy Beaty.  Students at ECC and AES raised $1,177.00, and students at CCMS raised $947.64 for the patients of St. Jude.  Congratulations to our students for their hard work!
