The students at Albany Elementary School who had drama, music, and art for related arts classes during the second six weeks of school demonstrated their skills in the arts by performing plays, singing, dancing, and exhibiting art projects for parents, peers, and staff on Thursday, November 3rd. Students performed before large audiences in the gymnasium. Classes from each grade level rehearse and present a drama performance during each grading period. The drama performance is complimented with musical selections, as well as dance routines and artwork showcase. The student performances were directed by AES drama teacher Patty Crouch and music teacher Teresa Williams. The students who had Mr. Eric Mercer for computer applications class designed and distributed programs for the event. During the showcase, student artwork was displayed in the lobby for viewing. The artwork was created by the students who had art for related arts class with Mr. Scott Gregory during the second six weeks of school.
The 1st grade classes of Ms. Kasey Conner and Ms. Rachel McFall presented a performance entitled "Baby Beluga."








The 2nd grade classes of Ms. Christina Stearns and Ms. Laura England presented a performance entitled "Make It Healthy."








The 3rd grade classes of Ms. Samantha Blackaby and Mr. Nate Pennycuff presented a performance entitled "Feelin' Good."








The 4th grade classes of Ms. Angie Marcum and Ms. Jamie Reagan presented a performance entitled "Healthy: A Celebration of Feeling Good."








Artwork was displayed by the classes of Ms. Wendy McWhorter, Ms. Chasity Starns, Ms. Reda Thurmna, & Ms. Shanon Shearer.
