Students in Ms. Mindie Anderson's and Mrs. Samantha Blackaby's 3rd grade classes at AES completed a Pumpkin Character Book Report. Students read a book of their choice and then completed a book report which included the genre of the story, the author's purpose, and how the characters' actions contributed to the events in the story. Students also made real-life connections with the story and spent time with their families creating a pumpkin to resemble a character from their book. Students did a wonderful job and had some really creative projects!
