HOSA Students Pack Shoeboxes

Posted On: Tuesday, December 10, 2019

The Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) at the Southern Kentucky Early College and Academy along with their Instructors/Advisors Billie Frye, RN and Ashley King, RN collected items for Operation Christmas Child. The donated items brought in by the students included: school supplies, personal hygiene items, and toys. The students collected enough supplies to fill nine Operation Christmas Child boxes. The boxes are sent to needy children all over the world. A special thank you goes out to all the students and their families who took the time to purchase and prepare the items, community members who donated money to help with the shipping cost, as well as Cave Springs Baptist Church who took the donated boxes to the appropriate location.  Pictured here are some of the students who helped with the Operation Christmas Child project.  Pictured below, Haleigh Irwin, Madison Claborn, and Makenzie Hicks.  Pictured at bottom, Katelyn Moreland, Natalie Huckelby, and Aireanna Osborne.
