CCHS Delegation Attends KUNA
Ammie Marcum

The Clinton County High School delegation represented Australia at the Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) at the Crowne Plaza in Louisville on March 9-11, 2023. The Kentucky United Nations Assembly is a 3-day experiential learning conference in which students participate directly in simulated international diplomacy. KUNA offers students the opportunity to experience the richness of cultures from around the world, develop empathy, and hone their critical thinking skills while engaging with a wide variety of perspectives and global issues. The CCHS delegation presented a resolution to the assembly, prepared a World Expo display, and participated in debate. Kendra Bertram received the Outstanding Ambassador award and Maci Tucker received the Media award. Valarie Latham, Gracie McFall, Carlee Albertson, and Emily Sawyers received the Outstanding World Expo award. The entire group achieved Premier Delegation Status. Congratulations to the CCHS KUNA delegation!
