The Clinton County Retired Teachers Association recognized the AARP/KRTA Grandparent of the Year Essay Winners and Volunteer of the Year at their March meeting. Volunteer of the Year was Nell Boils, who spoke briefly about her volunteer work at Green Grove Church, the local library board, & Set Apart PPC.
Ava Craig was the 1st place winner of the essay contest, Brody Boils was the 2nd place winner, and Liam Koch was the 3rd place winner. Each of the essay winners received a medallion, certificate, and cash prize.
