Clinton County School District is proud to announce that Clinton County Middle School and Clinton County High School are 2024-2025 National Beta Schools of Merit. These schools earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on their campuses.
The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in their Beta club. This year 5,930 Beta Clubs across the country received this award.
In a congratulatory letter to the school, Bobby Hart, CEO said “Thank you for your continued support of National Beta and commitment to developing future leaders!”
Amanda Mills, Beta Club Sponsor said, “This is a huge accomplishment for our school! We are in the process of inducting members from grade levels 6-12 in both the middle and high schools for the 2025-2026 school year. Beta Club promotes leadership, inspires academic excellence and fosters a spirit of service that will leave a lasting impact on our community. I am proud and honored to serve as sponsor to this great group of students!”
With more than 500,000 active members and 14,000 clubs nationally and internationally, National Beta has become the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. National Beta recognizes outstanding achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, and fosters leadership skills. Clinton County High School will host Grade Level Orientation/Open House TONIGHT, Thursday, July 31, 2025. 12th Grade will be 4:00 to 4:45 PM, 10th and 11th Grades will be 5:00 to 5:45 PM, and 9th Grade will be 6:00 to 6:45 PM. All grades will enter through the gym lobby, sign in and get class schedules, and then go to the gym for a short introduction to the 25-26 school year. After the introduction students, parents, and guardians may visit students’ teachers, counselors, and other staff members. Please return all completed packets to the students’ Home Room Teachers.
