High Attendance Day
Faculty, staff, and students throughout the district celebrated high attendance day Wednesday with special treats and activities.. The district attendance average was 95.07% and ECC had the highest attendance with 96.52%.

FOOTBALL GAME PARKING INFORMATION – SEPTEMBER 11 SHUTTLE PICKUP-DROP OFF UPDATES
To help accommodate parking for our football game on Friday, September 11, additional overflow parking will be available at the Early Childhood Center, 204 King Drive, Albany, KY 42602

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE
Two buses will run continuously between the Early Childhood Center and the football field.

Shuttle Hours: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Bus Drop-Off: Circle Drive (Next to teacher parking lot)

The buses will shuttle fans back and forth throughout the evening, making it convenient to get to and from the game.

We encourage fans to take advantage of the overflow parking and shuttle service. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to make game night as convenient as possible for everyone.

Attention all Clinton County Students!!
Clinton County Drama Department will be holding open auditions for their Christmas production Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, September 9th, 10th, & 11th from 3 to 5 p.m. each evening at the ECC auditorium. Students should come prepared to sing 60 seconds of a song if you are wanting a main part. You will not need music for the auditions. All others will be given audition material when you arrive.
You must sign in by 4:30 p.m. on the day you wish to audition.

Christmas Production Auditions
On Clinton County Schools' Opening Day, they had school vs. school competitions. Today, the winning school, Clinton County High School, received their prize: a drink cart offering drinks of choice for the Clinton County High School Team.

Clinton County Schools Opening Day

Clinton County Schools faculty and staff kicked off the new school year on August 18 with Opening Day activities at the Learning Center Auditorium. The day began with breakfast provided by Clinton County Farm Bureau.
Chief Academic Officer Stacey Evans welcomed employees, recapped professional development activities, shared goals for the school year, and extended a special welcome to new faculty and staff.
Debra Looper and Zack Pharis were recognized for perfect attendance for the 2025-2026 school year.
Pastor Paul Stringer of Albany First Baptist Church gave the invocation and prayer.
Superintendent Wayne Ackerman then addressed employees, providing an overview of the district’s Service of Excellence goals and survey results. He also reiterated the district's
The event concluded with a series of fun games and “Minute to Win It” competitions, with the Clinton County High School team taking home the victory!
Congratulations also to all the district’s door prize winners! A special thank-you goes to Sarah Guffey, Corey Culbreth, and the Clinton County Farm Bureau for providing breakfast, as well as to State Farm and Jeanie Bandy for providing breakfast donuts during one of the professional development days. Your generosity and support helped make the opening activities and professional development a great success!

PROPOSED TAX NOTIFICATION
The Clinton County Board of Education is proposing a general fund tax levy of 59.7 cents on real property and 59.7 cents on personal property.
The General Fund tax levied in fiscal year 2026 was 59.6 cents on real property and 59.6 cents on personal property and produced revenue of $3,146,354.88. The proposed General Fund tax rate of 59.7 cents on real property and 59.7 cents on personal property is expected to produce $3,381,521.59. Of this amount, $465,244.30 is from new and personal property. The compensating tax for 2027 is 57.3 cents on real property and 57.3 cents on personal property and is expected to produce $3,245,581.02.
The proposed rate is expected to generate more revenue than received in the preceding year. The general areas to which revenue of $235,166.71 above 2026 revenue is to be allocated are as follows: Cost of collections, $9,406.67 and instruction, $225,760.04.
This information is published pursuant to KRS 160.470. The proposed tax rate is not subject to recall under KRS 132.017.
The General Assembly has required publication of this advertisement and information contained herein.

Attention Parents/Guardians who will be driving their students to school at Clinton County High School.
Due to construction, parent drop off and pick up routes and school bus routes will use the same front entrance to the high school.
